1. Marketing outside Nyeri. The Kenya market is not large enough to buy all that Nyeri will produce. Nyeri will produce goods that will go beyond Comesa to the whole world. The market is insatiable. There are more than six billion people out there. And they want everything from beads through refrigerators, shoes to Cray computers. All those goods can be produced in Nyeri. Production is actually the easy part. The most important part will be to create the marketing mechanisms to get those goods to the world.

    Marketing is standard in business. NDC will make an emphasis for people to think more of the market outside Nyeri and Kenya. People will be encouraged to stop looking at their neighbours or region as their only market. The main requirement for people to sell outside Nyeri and to the larger world will be knowledge. While some people have knowledge in international marketing, the pursuit of this knowledge needs to be emphasized. A good example of international marketing of simple things is China with pens, socks and belts. In the short term such expertise can be obtained from people for hire.
